Did you ever been in Hobbiton Movie Set, one of the most famous New Zealand attraction? Im as a wedding photographer cant help myself and capture some personal images in this beautiful setting!
You may noticed how quiet its been here over last couple of weeks/months. The answer is easy, I been giving more of my time to my family before busy wedding season start rolling {I actually almost don’t have a break during this winter, such a busy time all year long}. So Im keep shooting weddings, photo shoots, but also get an opportunity to sneak out to picturesque places for a few days with my family and kids.
This time we spent couple of nights in Rotorua and visited Hamilton Gardens on the way, Was-o-Tapu Thermal wonderland, Rainbow Springs and highlight of our trip - Hobbiton movie set. Need to mentioned my mum come over to New Zealand from Russia for a first time, so good to travel around and show our amazing country with tranquil and beautiful landscapes!

Im so honoured to capture this beautiful couple’s moments in Markovina Vineyard Estate, where Chrissy and Craig celebrated their special moments with friends and family {in Auckland, New Zealand}. I’m so glad to be their wedding photographer and document such beautiful, emotional, and real moments.
Couple shared their romantic story: “We met at work in the Police and were on the same frontline section together. We got along so well and our friendship turned into something more approximately 6 months later and have been together ever since. By the time we get married it will be just over 7 years of being together, we built our first house together and have so much love for our two pets, Nala (dog) and Leo (cat).”
How did he propose? “We planned a trip away to Queenstown for our 6 year anniversary and Craig told me he was going to organise our anniversary dinner. We stayed in an amazing private hotel over looking the lake and on the morning of our anniversary we got up and went skiing for the day which was so much fun. When we returned to our hotel I got dressed (as told to by Craig-without knowing what we were doing) and we walked down to Botswana Butchery where Craig had arranged for a private dinner in one of their private rooms. After our delicious dinner we walked back to the hotel and a car was waiting for us. We got into the car and were driven to Onsen Hot Pools (which are private hotpools overlooking the Shotover River). Shortly after I was told our pool was ready and that we would catch up with Craig on our way to the pool however we didn't see him so the lady said she would direct him to where I was afterwards. I was lead to our room where I opened the door and saw Craig staying there, he had gotten changed into his full suit with tie and jacket. There was a deck surrounding the pool and on one side of the deck were 6 photo frames with photos of memorable moments in our relationship (buying our first house, overseas holidays, our cat and our dog) to the other side were letters standing up saying Marry Me with red roses and some bubbles underneath. He said a little speech and got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. Craig had designed the engagement ring himself and it was exactly what I wanted. Everything about he proposal was prefect in every way.” This is such an amazing story!

We had such amazing and relaxed time, kids been running around and exploring amazing New Zealand nature and landscapes. Such a dream come true. Its sounds unbelievable but this family decided to move to New Zealand and want me to take another photos for them in their new home, on the farm, with all their new animals, chickens, etc.
I can’t wait to see this family again and see their kids growing!

Im so excited to share with you my recent Auckland maternity photo shoot with Charlotte and Fares. Its so special experience to photograph a pregnancy, couple who expecting their little baby-newborn. Its a big honour for me as photographer to document these special moments!
Couple shared their story: “We met in Abu Dhabi (UAE) in October 2009 on a night out with friends. We've been together since, and got married in March 2016 in Hawke's Bay.” Proposal: “I was living and working back in New Zealand at the time, while Fares was still in Abu Dhabi. Being a flight attendant, I was working on a flight to Australia and back. Having just completed the first sector we had just started boarding the flight back to Auckland when I was asked to come help at the boarding door. I get to the door and that’s when I look up and see Fares standing there (All on film – ground staff were filming). Shocked I just burst into tears with happiness to see him, little did I know that he was actually about to get down on one knee! He had made a long journey from Abu Dhabi, to Singapore, to Brisbane and then finally caught my flight from Sydney to surprise me. Luckily I said yes….It would have been an awkward flight back if I had said no! ;) “ Such a beautiful and emotional moments!

This day was so amazing, couple also prepared a little surprise for their pre-wedding session - they brought a few smoke bombs! We had so much fun playing with them!

It was such a beautiful sunny winter day at The Hunting Lodge {Waimauku} where Eric & Nono celebrated their special day surrounded by close friends and family. Such amazing time for us, Auckland wedding photographers, to capture so many beautiful, emotional and real moments!
Couple shared their story: "t was July 7 2016 during a mid year getaway at Raglan. After a home cooked dinner we were relaxing and watching Chocolat starring Johnny Depp. My (Eric) heart was racing and I could barely focus (not because of Johnny Depp…). One hour in I asked Nono to grab another cider from the fridge. She was cosy and did not want to leave the sofa. Thankfully I won the most clutch round of paper scissors rock of my life and she reluctantly went. I had hidden the engagement ring in the fridge next to the drinks and coincidentally, the engagement ring box resembled a small box of chocolate. Thinking it was a welcome gift from our airbnb host she pranced around the room in excitement! She brought it over and was not keen on sharing the "chocolate". I told her that I should open it for her, got on one knee, muttered a few sentences while trying to maintain my composure and proposed to her. I picked the date July 7 so it’d be easy to remember, 07-07." Such a romantic tale!

I'm so excited to share with you my recent Destination Fiji Wedding with Divya & Gino, I'm so thrilled couple asked me to come over this island from Auckland - New Zealand and be their wedding photographer.
The day was just magical with warm and cosy atmosphere, beautiful sun and clouds, amazing people around and friends that come all the way to Fiji from all over the world.
Couple shared their love story: "We have been together for almost 6 years. He took me to a restaurant on the beach where we had one of our firsts dates and proposed on the beach"
Their wedding was right on the beach area next to Sofitel Hotel. Such a gorgeous place to be!
