We met with couple at the beautiful Piha beach with stunning landscapes and beautiful atmosphere. Elopement ceremony was just gorgeous and weather cooperated (luckily no rain till the very last minute of the shoot when skies are opened up and pure rain started!)

Amazing Celebrant: @valeria_celebrant Valeria Antipenko lead the ceremony on Russian and English languages, perfectly suitable for couple with multicultural mix.

Exciting times in New Zealand - with couples allowed to enter the country after Covid lockdowns, more travels and elopements became real, like this one with Anna and Devin who come all the way from Germany to get married on Piha Beach {Auckland}.

Amazing and romantic event that is a pleasure to photograph for me - wedding and family photographer, such a beautiful moments and memories that will be treasured forever.

Even small rain can’t stand on the way of this special celebration of love!

Ceremony been run on German and English by amazing celebrant Angelika De Vere next to rocks with ocean views. What a beautiful event full of fun, love and laughter!

Engagement session with horses at Muriwai Beach {Auckland pre-wedding photographers}

Im so excited to share with you amazing engagement session with horses at Muriwai Beach in Auckland. Deep and Prachi envisioned a beautiful pre-wedding photo shoot and organise flowers and horses hire at Muriwai Beach Horse Track, just before they planned to go away to India to have their wedding celebration. Its always a pleasure for us, wedding photographers, to capture so special moments before their marriage.

We met at the horse track, get a beautiful brown horse and walk around the forest, explore around and then spent the rest of the time at the beach, just before the sunset, enjoying stunning landscapes and surroundings.

Everything on this session went perfect {even though horses sometimes behave like a kids, and go where they want to go, need to mention horse been very interested in beautiful flower - I would think more for a snack :) but we managed to keep everything safe!}.

its hard to believe its winter and time to slow down and reflect on busy summer season, look at best of 2020/21 Auckland wedding-family-engagement photography.

It was different season right during the pandemic with some weddings and sessions been postponed, and lockdown in Auckland happened, but we been lucky to move through an amazing moments, memories for years to come with all the amazing couples, their families, friends and babies and more!

This season brought lots of joy and laughter and some recognition - won The Voice collection finalist, named in 100 best wedding photographers by SLR Lounge, published in many blogs and magazines including Together Journal and more!

Top Nine - Best of 2019 {Auckland wedding - engagement - maternity - newborn-family photography}

This year was just amazing and Im so excited to share with you Best of 2019 - beautiful, emotional and real moments from wedding - engagement - maternity - newborn and family photography.

It was amazing and crazy busy year: with shooting 24 weddings and 17 photo shoots, including one styled shoot, traveling to Bali, Germany, Austria {Europe}, Melbourne, Australia and South Island of New Zealand {Christchurch, Auckland, Gore}; running 3 live photography workshops {two in Auckland and one in Melbourne}, and 4-weeks online workshop Love, Light & Laughter at Click Photo School. Such a beautiful time! I just loved to share my knowledge, my love and my soul!

I progressed in my ice skating, participating in Adult World Championship in Oberstdorf, and won some gold and silver medals on New Zealand Nationals, as well as participated with my synchro team in Australian Nationals, where we got very close to 3rd place with just 0.1 points of difference in scores!

Lot of hard work for the next year and exciting plans ahead! Practice and progress in everything I do!

I can not wait to see what next year brings!

My focus for the next year is harmony, balance, capture only limited number of weddings and sessions, concentrating on personal and educational projects/photography workshops, family and myself, keep doing ice skating and participating in international competitions. I hope to improve my level in everything I do. Having a good sport hobby allowing not only keep healthy body and mind, but also come back refresh to my photography and business. So important to find time for yourself!

Karekare - Piha - Muriwai beach - West Auckland pre-wedding photography

I would love to share with you amazing session with Doris & jacob at Karekare - Piha - Muriwai Beach and Riverhead Forest - stunning West Auckland locations, just perfect for pre-wedding photography. Couple made their way from Hong Kong to this beautiful destination. It was a honour for me, New Zealand wedding and engagement photographer to capture so special for this couple moments.

The highlight of the session was not only beautiful and emotional, natural and romantic moments in their relationship, but also 4 different outfits! So amazing and just perfect!

Pre-wedding photo shoot in New Zealand {Auckland wedding photographer}

Im so excited to share with you my recent sneak peek of pre-wedding photo shoot: Manyin & Mark come over to New Zealand from Hong Kong for this breathtaking session and travel around NZ with first stop in Auckland. Such a honour for me to be chosen before their wedding as their couples photographer.

We had such amazing time - 4-hours session!!! starting from Auckland Domain, Riverhead forest, and finishing meeting sunset at Muriwai Beach. So many incredible moments, love and laughter! We enjoyed every single moment!

Couple shared their love story: “We've been together for about 2.5 years we met during work when I (manyin) travel to HK for a work trip and Mark is local in HK where he studied in Sydney (same place as me) previously. Our hobbies and background was very alike and slowly we were together. He proposed on his birthday (as this was the date we started going out together) he decorated the house and proposed”. Such a beautiful story.

The Travelling Dress Collective {New Zealand pre-wedding photographer}

I'm so excited to share with you a new publication of our amazing The Travelling Dress Collective project - where nine photographers from Australia and New Zealand come together to photograph just one dress with their unique Voice and Style.

It was such fantastic experience and so talented group of artists. Can't believe how this turned out. This dress was so gorgeous - made by Purity Lace Design. It's so amazing to see how different artists found something unique with their approach. Surprised Elopement in New Zealand | Karekare Beach - Fall: Mary and Philipp {Wedding photographer in Auckland}

So excited to share with you a surprised elopement with Mary & Philipp. The couple come all way from Germany to New Zealand to get married on wild Karekare Beach. {can't even imagine how bride organised everything from overseas, what a surprise for a groom!}. Philipp was amazingly pleased. We had such a special time on West Coast Auckland fall and beach. There were so much love, care, and positive emotions!

When Mary contacted me with this idea to surprise her groom {he thought it will be just an engagement photo shoot and not expected to see the celebrant and two witnesses!}, I right away jumped in the opportunity to capture something unique and beautiful {risky as well, but I believed in this amazing story happy ending}.

Thanks to two witnesses and unexpected helper {owner of accommodation in Titirangi where couple stayed in Auckland, he helped with transport the bride to the ceremony site, as well as accessories: table {carried it all the way on the hot beach through the sand dunes}, and rug as well. It was unforgettable emotions and memories!

The Travelling Dress 2018 in New Zealand {Auckland wedding-elopement photographer}

As promised, excited to share with you fantastic project that I took part in recently - The Travelling Dress Collective, where nine photographers from Australia and New Zealand {this is me - your Auckland based wedding-elopement photographer} come together to photograph one gorgeous dress. We had it only for 2-3 days and posted to each other, taking photos inspired by one piece of clothes. Receiving this parcel was like opening a Christmas present as you don't know what to expect inside. This dress was so gorgeous - made by Purity Lace Design. It's so amazing to see how different artists found something unique with their approach. My travelling dress project found the heroes in my beautiful couple, who funny enough fact - come over from Australia {where I send dress after the photo shoot}. Tina & Tony contacted me for pre-wedding | engagement photos, and we did a breathtaking photo shoot at Karekare Beach {New Zealand}. Halfway through the session, I shared with them a story about the Travelling Dress and couple been so kind to agree to participate and try it on. We had so much fun, dress perfectly compliment the wild New Zealand landscapes and an amazing relationship with these beautiful souls - Tina & Tony. I truly appreciate they agreed to take on this challenge and we got a fantastic result! You can find another half of their session following the link to our Blog.

Auckland City + Domain elopement: Bianca and Matt {New Zealand wedding photographer}

Bianca & Matt, such a gorgeous couple, who made their way from Australia to have an intimate wedding | elopement in Auckland city. They have been surrounded by parents and me, of course, New Zealand weddings photographer :). It is a pleasure for me to capture a small wedding coverage with such beautiful people.

Our day started from champaign at SkyCity Hotel, walking on Auckland streets to the registry office and small scroll to the Auckland Domain after the ceremony.

It was such a beautiful event full of love, cry and emotional moments.

Couple shared their love story: " We met in 2007 when Matt's family moved in next door to mine, in the little town of King Creek, NSW. In 2010 we started dating (I was still in high school) and have been together ever since. In 2014 we moved to Newcastle where I commenced, and have just completed, a Bachelor of Biological Science. Matt's a total country guy at heart. He grew up on a farm before his family moved to town and he knew how to pull cars apart before I could properly tie my shoes." The proposal: "Matt took me up to Pappinbarra to show me the farm he grew up on. We were having a picnic on the tray of his giant ute, overlooking the vast, mountainous greenery when he popped the question."
