I'm so excited to share with you my recent Destination Fiji Wedding with Divya & Gino, I'm so thrilled couple asked me to come over this island from Auckland - New Zealand and be their wedding photographer.
The day was just magical with warm and cosy atmosphere, beautiful sun and clouds, amazing people around and friends that come all the way to Fiji from all over the world.
Couple shared their love story: "We have been together for almost 6 years. He took me to a restaurant on the beach where we had one of our firsts dates and proposed on the beach"
Their wedding was right on the beach area next to Sofitel Hotel. Such a gorgeous place to be!

It's such a pleasure to travel from Auckland Up North, come back exactly one year later {after shooting two weddings in Russell and Kerikeri} and as photographers to be a part of a special celebration - Leanne & Tim wedding in Mahinepua Beachfront House {Northland, New Zealand}. It was rainy but such a happy day with warm and cosy atmosphere, love and positive emotions, all on outskirts of Northland. It was a pleasure to work with Susi Liddington again, she as a wedding planner and stylist created such gorgeous tropical atmosphere in the marquee and around the space. Everyone has been amazed by this creative and talented approach!
The couple shared their love story:" We met at the university during a class we were both taking while Tim was studying towards his Master of Nursing and Leanne was doing her Postgraduate Diploma in Health Sciences. We travelled together to Nepal on a global health university project. After four weeks working together in a rural Nepal community, we then went on a flight around Mt Everest together. Tim took Leanne to the cockpit of the plane and just as we were in front of Mt Everest he proposed." Hard to imagine anything more epic for a proposal! Just funny that instead of giving full attention to Tim Leanne been fascinated looking at the Mount just the moment before.
Its so exciting to hear some unique facts about couple relationship: "We are both nurses who had had a long-standing desire (before we met each other) to work and live in rural communities and locations and have since been fortunate enough work together in places like rural Nepal, remote Kenya and remote outback Australia. Next, we are making a move to rural Northland NZ."
Its all come together with their families and friends celebrated together their special day in Mahinepua Beachfront House far north.

Even raining weather can't stand in the way of emotional celebration. We walk in the rain on couples special session at Muriwai Beach and Woodhill Forest. Such a great memories!
The couple shared their love story: "We met on a snowboarding trip with our families in 2013". How was proposed: "we went down to a wharf near where I live, and he popped the question in the pitch black haha".

I'm so excited to share with you highlights of my last wedding of this summer season in New Zealand - Jenny & Andrew get married in Castaways resort {Auckland, NZ} surrounded by their close friends and families. It was amazing outdoor wedding {as its get close to winter season we had such a cold wind on the top of the hills and freezing weather, but its not stand of the way of this beautiful couple celebrating their special day with their guests}. Couple contacted me looking for their wedding photogpraher just few months ago, I just love these sort of short notice weddings! I been happy to provide them a custom wedding photography coverage.
It was great to meet all their friends and families {some come from all around the world, including China}.
Couple's romantic story: "On May 4th 2017 we will have been together for 3 years.. We met at a party through a mutual friend who has a habit of setting people up without them knowing! Andrew took me out for an ice cream at the Auckland Domain where, as Andrew's good fortune would have it, we happened upon a jazz band that was playing. We then went out on a hike in the Waitakere and watched the sunset."
How was made a proposal: "Andrew took me on a surprise long weekend holiday to Paihia and Russell - it was a warm November Guy Fawkes evening and he proposed under the stars on the balcony where we could see the fireworks across the harbour in Russell. He admitted later he was supposed to propose when we hiked up the Pinnacles in the Coromandel a few weeks earlier - but his plans got rained on - literally!" Such a romantic story!

Kara & David
Our journey with amazing couple started from their letter over one year ago, where I found out that Kara & David living in Canada planning their special New Zealand coastal wedding in Flat White Cafe {Waihi Beach, Waikato, New Zealand} and they are looking for two photographers to capture full day of special for them event with families coming from NZ South Island, Australia and Canada of course, all around the world!
Im not surprised with couple's choice of beach theme {believe me, Waihi Beach such a great choice} as Kara & David are adventurous, outgoing, loving nature. Flat White cafe been an obvious choice as couples love story started in coffee shop in Edmonton, Alberta. "They spent the day wandering through Edmonton and getting to know each other. Although Kara did not understand a word that Dave said, she knew there was something different about him, and they have been together ever since."
Proposal: "Dave popped the question New Year's Eve 2015 at Kaka Point beach, New Zealand. Dave had spoken to Kara's father, Jeff, prior to leaving for New Zealand. Jeff, an upholsterer, used his sewing skills to make Dave a special pouch to store the ring so that Kara did not find it on their holiday."
Their day was truly amazing and special, surrounded by friends and family, getting ready, first look with dad {brought tears in everybody's eyes}, ceremony in front of cafe {bear foot on the beach, I even went in the water to get some shots from the ocean with the waves, believe me I did it many times during the day, on bride and groom intimate session as well ;)}, family photos, bridal party shoot {groomsmen been climbing up high on the massive tree which reminded of Lord of The Rings :)} and couple photos was just stunning {bride and groom been climbing on the rocks, standing in the waves and much more!}, with sunset mini photo shoot of course, just before the reception roll on with speeches, dinner, cake cutting, first dance, father-daughter dance and guests dancing away! It was such a honour to capture all these moments.

Congratulations to Georjarna & Gareth who celebrated their special day in such a great location as one of the North Shore beaches {Auckland, New Zealand}. Im as a destination wedding photographer seen so many beautiful weddings in so many stunning location and I can tell beach wedding have such a special relaxed atmosphere and freedom vibe.
When you look at powerful ocean, tall trees and Rangitoto Island as backdrop for couples intimate moments you can feel its just right!
Georjarna shared couple's love story: "We both had just signed up to Tinder and met each together after only being on it for a few days. It was an instant connection. we went to Bali on holiday and on our second night ( first full day) there Gareth took me to beach, we were meant to be going out for dinner. written in a big heart in the sand was "Georgie will you marry me". It was a complete suprise and really romantic. He had organised a photographer from the hotel so we had photos of the whole thing. He got down on one knee and it was really nice. " Georjarna & Gareth looked forward to their wedding day "to become husband and wife and to say our vows in front of everyone", including Gareth's 9 years old son Malachi.

Im really excited to share with you amazing news: Sonya & Ryan's New Years Eve wedding just been published in Modern Weddings as "Chic Beach Wedding".
This wedding was just unforgettable with warm and cosy atmosphere in Maketu beach with ceremony at the backyard with views to Mt Maunghanui {Tauranga}. We specially drove from Hamilton, NZ to capture for couple such a special moments and come back home just 5 minutes before 12 am to celebrate the New Year :) Such a great memories!

As destination wedding photographers we love to travel all around New Zealand and worldwide, but this wedding and location been truly special. I love the historical feeling and atmosphere in this cozy town. Also ability to breath in all the nature and landscapes around crossing the space between Paihia and Russell on the ferry just priceless! Such a great memories.

Parnell Rose Garden is a beautiful place in Auckland NZ to be married! I had the honour to capture an amazing wedding last weekend for Zydon & Olga, such a stunning couple!
Their photographs turned out just amazing which was not surprising when you look at all factors around: gorgeous bride Olga and handsome groom Zydon, stunning locations (rose gardens, old style reception and St Heliers Beach photo shoot after reception), great warm atmosphere (these families know how to have fun! I just loved every single minute of this wedding!). Olga fly over from Australia to New Zealand to Zydon to make this wedding happened :) Even distance not a barrier for a true love!
