Im so excited to share with you a recent publication in Shutterstock where Photographers from all over the world share lessons learned from the Coronavirus Pandemic, such a tough time fore any small business owner. Its such a honour for me, Auckland family-wedding photographer to be featured in this publication.

Here some of my words published:

“Coronavirus pandemic affected the wedding photography industry in a big way, as so many weddings have been rescheduled/postponed and some are cancelled. The amount of income dropped significantly. But, I learned to enjoy the downtime during lockdowns. I spent more time with my family and, work-wise, I decided to shift my focus on online photography education and also started offering more branding and lifestyle shoots. Wedding inquiries recently started to pick up again, but I truly enjoy the variety of different genres that allow me to switch perspective and atmosphere, and to refresh.

One of my most valuable lessons I learned through the coronavirus pandemic is that there’s no need to lock yourself in a box. Be open to different opportunities that come your way and stay positive. That is, keep working hard to get where you want to be or take a break and refresh your vision. Also, you need to have a safety pillow. Secure yourself. Have some savings and financial security, and also, special conditions in your contract to protect yourself from any unforeseeable situation—such as a global pandemic. Stay calm and carry on!”

Hello Beautiful People!
It happened totally unexpected, but our “Tales of the Moment” {our online class and Instagram hub as well} just featured 2202 images and reached over 20k followers in less then 2 years! Who could’ve think it’s possible when we been starting this adventure with creating this hub to support our online learning, featuring talented artists and creating a community!

Im so excited to share with you a great news the Traveling Dress Collective blog just issued a new publication with our photos! Im so excited to share with you recent Shoot & Share contest results {this is a truly amazing competition/awards where only audience voting for best photos}. Its such a honour for me, Auckland wedding photographer to get acknowledgement , be notices from hundred of thousands of submitted photographs.

Quick statistics:

One of my photos got 5th place from 46000 submitted in Couple/Engagement Category; 3 photos became finalists in Engagement, Lifestyle/Documentary and Travel/Landscape category; 12 photos got in top 10% in their categories and 17 photos in top 20 % in their categories. Such amazing results, a bit better then last year.

Im so grateful, thank you everyone who voted and to my awesome couple who made this results come true; also thank you to my little one, her photo got in the finalist in Documentary category.

{also you can capture amazing moments with any equipment! My favourite Sigma 35 mm Art was in service that day and I used for this session Nikon 50 mm 1.8 Dx one of the kit lenses that I used when I got my crop camera at the beginning of photography. You just need your eye and ability to see the moment!}
