Im so excited to share with you a recent publication in Shutterstock where Photographers from all over the world share lessons learned from the Coronavirus Pandemic, such a tough time fore any small business owner. Its such a honour for me, Auckland family-wedding photographer to be featured in this publication.

Here some of my words published:

“Coronavirus pandemic affected the wedding photography industry in a big way, as so many weddings have been rescheduled/postponed and some are cancelled. The amount of income dropped significantly. But, I learned to enjoy the downtime during lockdowns. I spent more time with my family and, work-wise, I decided to shift my focus on online photography education and also started offering more branding and lifestyle shoots. Wedding inquiries recently started to pick up again, but I truly enjoy the variety of different genres that allow me to switch perspective and atmosphere, and to refresh.

One of my most valuable lessons I learned through the coronavirus pandemic is that there’s no need to lock yourself in a box. Be open to different opportunities that come your way and stay positive. That is, keep working hard to get where you want to be or take a break and refresh your vision. Also, you need to have a safety pillow. Secure yourself. Have some savings and financial security, and also, special conditions in your contract to protect yourself from any unforeseeable situation—such as a global pandemic. Stay calm and carry on!”

Traveling Dress Project publication - Personal photography {Auckland fine art photographer}

Winter is a perfect time for recharge and bring in more creative vibe. One of the ways is Traveling Dress Project - a personal photography and way of collaboration with other photographers, from Auckland, around New Zealand and beyond, including Australia. Eight incredibly talented lifestyle and fine art photographers come together to choose one dress and send it to each other, taking pictures with their daughters in their personal photographer style. Its such a great way to try something new, get inspired and capture a few stunning photos , treasured memories with our family - little ones. My daughter been very excited to try this dress on, explore around the bushes at some rainy afternoon. You can see our photographs below and some more photos from all artists, shared these photographs when dress made a full travel around the globe.

Im so excited to share with you a great news the Traveling Dress Collective blog just issued a new publication with our photos! We took part in creative project with 8 photographers from all over the world. Its been a big honour for me, Auckland wedding photographer, to be invited in this talented company.

The Travelling Dress Collective {New Zealand pre-wedding photographer}

I'm so excited to share with you a new publication of our amazing The Travelling Dress Collective project - where nine photographers from Australia and New Zealand come together to photograph just one dress with their unique Voice and Style.

It was such fantastic experience and so talented group of artists. Can't believe how this turned out. This dress was so gorgeous - made by Purity Lace Design. It's so amazing to see how different artists found something unique with their approach. It was a surprised ceremony on the Karekare Beach as groom thought it going to be a couples photo shoot! You cant even imagine how happy and relieved newly weds felt right after the ceremony. Shoot and Share Contest Results {Award-Winning Wedding photographer in Auckland - New Zealand}

So excited about this fantastic news - I just received Shoot and Share contest results and images that I submitted got a great acknowledgement: one photo in top 100, two images as category finalists, 11 pictures in Top 10%, 17 photos in Top 20%, 12 photographs in Top 30%. Its such a pleasure to me, Auckland wedding photographer {New Zealand} to see such a high performance for my wedding and lifestyle family work. Such surprising results, mainly when you know, there were over 800000 submissions from over 150 countries around the world.

It's great to know; my favourite images got in the top rated photos, chosen by the audience. But there were surprises as well: one picture from my moody Styled Shoot got in the category finalists, and I even never got to share it as there were so many another fantastic images from this shoot. Such great teamwork from all vendors who made it possible.

Rangefinder Contest Winner {Auckland - New Zealand lifestyle wedding-family photographer}

I have amazing news: my personal project photo just won a Rangefinder Contest - first place in Children category!

You might know already I not only a wedding photographer, but also mum of two active little ones and often enjoying take a family photos. NZ Herald publication - Inkberry Calligraphy {Auckland wedding photography}

I am so excited for this publication in NZ Herald, for my friend Emma from Inkberry Calligraphy. The leading newspaper in the country shared her fantastic story "From hobby to job: Calligrapher's skills brings ancient art back to life" with some of my photos from our collaboration Styled Shoot in Motat {Auckland} last year. It's such an honour when our photography used for such good reason.
