Today is my birthday and what can be better then sharing my recent photo shoot!

Exciting times with beautiful family of four meeting sunset on Muriwai Beach {Auckland}. So great to meet this couple after two years {they booked their wedding coverage last year but delayed this event for important reasons and decided to go ahead with capturing so special memories with their kids at family photo shoot, together with some maternity moments ;)}. Congratulations on expecting baby number three, Katrina and Quintin! So special for couples moments and pleasure to shoot for me as photographer and mum myself.

The weather been very tricky with rain on the way - couple made their way from Waikato area, so luckily right at arrival sun come out giving a beautiful golden light on the beach. So much fun for kids to run around, play and enjoy the views and for parents to have some one on one time and capture some moments alone as well as together with their boy and girl.

Pre-wedding photo shoot on Muriwai Beach {Auckland photographer}

We met with Frances and Chris just few months before their wedding for a photos shoot on Muriwai Beach {Auckland}. I cant wait to be their wedding photographer very soon {we already reschedule two times because of lockdowns, so hopefully third time lucky!}.

The weather was great with beautiful soft golden light just before the sunset. We started at open part of Muriwai Beach capturing some beautiful moments with their best friend - dog Coda! SO gorgeous moments! and continue to my favourite part - More Bay with stunning rocks and a cave! It was great to chit-chat and discuss some wedding details as well at this pre-wedding photo shoot!

While New Zealand moved to lockdown and all sessions/weddings getting postponed it great to look back at recent engagement session with Minyu & Carl and their best friends - adorable dogs at Muriwai Beach {Auckland}. Im so exited for their upcoming wedding! So great to capture these special moments, couple with their dog as a big family {with a bit of chaos, but we just go with the flow and let it be!}. pleasure to document these moments for any photographer!

Im so excited to share with you recent Muriwai Beach engagement session in West Auckland beautiful secluded location, such a perfect for pre-wedding photo shoot. Im so excited to be Kristy & Nick photographer. Not long to go till their wedding in Tawharanui! I can not wait for it!

We had a great time walking on the beach, talking, getting to know each other and how we roll, capturing some stunning moments and discussing an upcoming wedding as well. What a great time!

One session - Four Dresses {Pre-Wedding New Zealand - Auckland engagement photographer}

I’m so excited to share with you a sneak peek from one session with four dresses!!! Doris & Jacob come to pre-wedding session in New Zealand from Hong Kong, couple contacted me as an Auckland engagement photographer to take some beautiful and emotional natural photos at the beach.

We could not limit the session just to one beach so decided to travel around stunning New Zealand West Coast - begin from Riverhead forest, then Muriwai Beach and travel to Karekare Falls and Piha Beach. All this travelling totally worth it!

Pre-wedding West Auckland + Domain Auckland photo shoot {wedding | engagement photography}

Such a beautiful day with Many & Mark on their pre-wedding West Auckland + Domain photo shoot in the park, forest and beach. Such amazing time with so couple that made their way from Hong Kong for their wedding | engagement photography.

We started in Auckland Domain, then follow to Riverhead forest and finished session at Muriwai Beach.

Couple shared their story: “We've been together for about 2.5 years we met during work when I (manyin) travel to HK for a work trip and Mark is local in HK where he studied in Sydney (same place as me) previously. Our hobbies and background was very alike and slowly we were together.” The proposal happened “On his birthday (as this was the date we started going out together) he decorated the house and proposed”. Such a beautiful story!

Auckland City + Karekare Beach Pre-wedding {wedding photographer in New Zealand}

Im so thrilled to share with you a recent gallery highlights in Auckland City and Karekare Falls | Beach with Junice and Terrance who made all the way from Singapore to their pre-wedding session with me as wedding photographer, in New Zealand.

We had so much fun and positive emotions, walking on Auckland City streets, enjoying the atmosphere of a downtown with buildings, bricks, industrial and old style imperial feeling; driving to Karekare Falls and following to the Piha Beach for a little bit extra photos and atmosphere. This 3 hours photo shoot was just incredible. It was a cloudy day with no chance for a beautiful sunset, but its all about relationship, connection, emotions and candid moments, no matter weather!

Couple shared their love story: “We met at university during our 1st year but only got closer when we were doing our post grad diploma and have been together for almost 4 years”. The Proposal: “It was Junice's birthday and we had lunch at a Japanese restaurant we both like and have visited a few times. The restaurant celebrates birthdays with the chefs dimming the lights and singing a birthday song, while bringing out a birthday dessert. After the song, Terrance said that he had one more thing, - he then went down on one knee and popped the question. "To more sushi adventures ahead!" he said. “ Oh, such amazing story!

Engagement session on Muriwai Beach - Riverhead forest {Auckland pre-wedding photographer}

This engagement session on Muriwai Beach - Riverhead forest {Auckland} with Aishani & Janak was truly breathtaking. Couple wanted to do a pre-wedding session in New Zealand before they come back to UK after few years live in Auckland. It was a last minute call and Im so happy to be their couples photographer.

We spent amazing time walking around the forest and exploring the wild West Coast New Zealand beach with cave, rocks and stunning landscapes. Couple been so brave and adventurous and even walk in the cold water {its a winter here in NZ!}. I always love when couple brings traditions in their wedding | session so it was a great surprise to see their traditional Indian outfits - sari.

Couple shared their love story: "We met at university 10 years ago, were best friends for 3 years until Janak anonymously sent me flowers on Valentines Day. We pretty much immediately went travelling to India, Nepal & Malaysia as a brand new couple for 3 months. It was intense being with each other 24/7 right at the beginning of our relationship, but it showed us that we were a great couple... and here we are 7 years later!" 

The proposal was so amazing: "He flew me on a seaplane to the winery I really wanted to go to on Waiheke (Man O War). We had a wine tasting, then while we went for a walk on the beach and he got down on one knee! The proposal was a complete surprise as I thought the seaplane experience was a belated birthday gift."

Auckland forest-beach maternity session: Conny and Stewart {New Zealand wedding -family photographer}

Im so excited to share with you a final gallery from Auckland forest-beach maternity session with Conny & Stewart. Im as New Zealand wedding and family photographer truly enjoy capturing so special moments with expecting a little miracle.

Couple shared their story: "We met in 2010.( Been together for 8 years now- time file). at a festival in South Africa I was playing hard to get, however once he convinced me that he is one of the good fish out there we moved in together and a year later he proposed In 2014 we got married and moved to New Zealand the following year. We waited till we felt settled and secure in our Jobs before starting this new and exciting adventure of becoming parents."

We had amazing time on Muriwai Beach and Woodhill forest, so beautiful memories!

Pre-wedding engagement beach photo shoot {Auckland weddings photographers}

Im really excited about upcoming Ilinke & Shaun's wedding, especially after couple's pre-wedding engagement photo shoot on one of the North Shore Auckland beach.

Ilinke's mum hand made a flower crown for this session, its looks so gorgeous! Amazing work!

Couple story: "We met through friends but what followed was an instant connection based on mutual respect, wanting the same things out of life and lots of laughter. We love watching movies and cooking together but mostly love experiencing life together by going on little adventures where we get to see new areas like waterfalls or little coffee shops etc"

It was amazing time together on the beach walking around and breath in all the atmosphere and get some romantic and playfulness moments captured.

Piha Beach couples photo shoot {Auckland wedding-engagement photographer NZ} Trelise and Alan

We had such a great time together with Trelise & Alan {our engagement photo shoot giveaway winners from Auckland Weddings} on Piha Beach {NZ}, their wedding coming up next year around Christmas time, so excited for this amazing couple!

I just loved this atmosphere on the beach - rocks, waves, sand, sunset! We had so much beautiful, romantic and emotional moments with this fun loving couple. Amazed by their love and energy!

Trelise told a story of the proposal, so beautiful and romantic!:

"Alan proposed on our 1 year anniversary in Santorini, Greece in June 2016. We had woken up early to watch the sunrise, so the paths were empty except for us. It was beautifully quiet, a lovely warm temperature, and just such a beautiful moment. We were at a view point on the island, looking out towards all the white houses and blue roofs, with the sun rising behind them, and we had a blue domed house right next to us (which we now refer to as "Our Dome"). Alan got down on one knee, on a cobbled path, and had to wait a few moments for an answer from me as I thought I was still asleep and dreaming!! A beautiful stray dog was the only witness to our special moment. We then had a champagne breakfast at our Cave, and spent the rest of the day out on a catamaran exploring Santorini and swimming in the bluest of blue oceans." Amazing dreamy moment!

I love every single moment of our session, there was freezing, windy,cloudy and sunny. We are survived the weather conditions! :)

Kumeu farm engagement session {Auckland NZ wedding-couples photographer} Hana and Aidan

Beautiful engagement session and great time with Hana & Aidan on their farm in Kumeu, Auckland NZ (there was just enough time before pure rain started, so much positive emotions though!).

We met on a blind date set up by a mutual friend. I needed a date for my Uncle's wedding on Waiheke island and Aidan put his hand up to take me. 3 years on and we've gotten engaged :)

Excited about their wedding up north in Russell, not long to go now! Im so excited to be their wedding photographer and appreciate couple share with me so special moments!

Hamilton Gardens engagement photo shoot {New Zealand wedding - couple photographer} Megan and Chris

We had amazing time in Hamilton Gardens {New Zealand} with Megan & Chris, such a beautiful and romantic couple. Im really excited about their upcoming wedding in Gisborne next year, such a honour to be their wedding photographer, especially after knowing this couple and spent with them more time! This engagement photo shoot definitely helps us better know each other, understand how we are roll and feel more relaxed on the wedding day and get more natural photographs. I love to spend more time with my awesome wedding clients!

This couple have amazing story as they met each in High School and over 10 years together! What a long happy time! Their love became even stronger.

We met at Saturday evening in Hamilton Gardens {its been close to rainy weather but luckily we managed to finish our session just before pure rain starts. There was some spacial atmosphere. Love is all  around!

Family of four - beach photo shoot {Auckland couples-wedding photographer}

Im not often doing family or newborn photo shoots as more concentrate on wedding and couples photography, but Im happy to take it on board if I have time in my schedule and feel I need to refresh and get more creative inspiration for shooting other genre of photography apart from weddings :)

This time my friend Natalia asked to do a family session for her at Kariotahi beach {Auckland} and I been glad to spent beautiful time with this family of four with 2 active kids. Smaller one Rebeca is turning 3 years old, what a big gorgeous girl!

We had a lot of fun at the beach near the hills, black sand sea line, waterfall. Kids been running and playing around and we even get opportunity to capture some couple's special moments with mum and dad. What a happy family!

Best wedding photos of the season {Auckland - New Zealand lifestyle couples photographer}

I love to look back and pick the best photos from each wedding what I captured around New Zealand {mostly in Auckland :)} during this busy season. All these lifestyle moments, couple's connection, emotions: both laughing and crying, candids and details.

Its so special and so magical, Im as a wedding photographer can observe, capture, be creative and tell the story of the wedding day, show moments which couple maybe even not noticed at this hectic day and those what will be treasured forever,

Wedding photography such a special thing! I so in love in this genre, so much emotions, unexpected moments, challenges through the magical day. Its truly magic to capture one in a life event. You will have only your husband and photographs wake up next morning :)

In-home couples lifestyle session {New Zealand wedding-engagement photographer}

Lifestyle sessions are my favourite to shoot {wedding, engagement, events, family etc.}, especially if its in-home photo shoot, which really shows what couple love to do together, and make things more easy going and relaxed. This type of session not so popular in New Zealand yet {not surprising with so many opportunities for great photographs at wild landscapes and beautiful nature}, but maybe at winter time we can warm up with cup of tea / coffee, snuggle with partner and show our emotions in everyday moments.

Last weekend I arrived to Kylee & Rob's place at morning to capture special for them moments {need to mentioned couple having 10 years anniversary and they still crazy in love! hope we all be the same after 10 years being together with your partner}.

It was real fun to do and capture simple things as making cup of tea at kitchen, sitting at the dining table, and even dancing in the living room {we laugh with Kylee and remembered one of our favourite movies "Dirty dancing", even tried to reproduce some movement, poor Rob!, ha-ha :), wait, he actually done a great job!

There was so many sweet moments and I just loved our session, so special for this couple!
