Together Journal - Mary and Philipp elopement {Auckland wedding photographer}

I'm so excited to announce: Together Journal just published Mary & Philipp elopement in Auckland {couple from Germany contacted me to be their wedding photographer}. It was a surprised ceremony on the Karekare Beach as groom thought it going to be a couples photo shoot! You cant even imagine how happy and relieved newly weds felt right after the ceremony. You can feel the harmony in their photographs.

Surprised Elopement in New Zealand | Karekare Beach - Fall: Mary and Philipp {Wedding photographer in Auckland}

So excited to share with you a surprised elopement with Mary & Philipp. The couple come all way from Germany to New Zealand to get married on wild Karekare Beach. {can't even imagine how bride organised everything from overseas, what a surprise for a groom!}. Philipp was amazingly pleased. We had such a special time on West Coast Auckland fall and beach. There were so much love, care, and positive emotions!

When Mary contacted me with this idea to surprise her groom {he thought it will be just an engagement photo shoot and not expected to see the celebrant and two witnesses!}, I right away jumped in the opportunity to capture something unique and beautiful {risky as well, but I believed in this amazing story happy ending}.

Thanks to two witnesses and unexpected helper {owner of accommodation in Titirangi where couple stayed in Auckland, he helped with transport the bride to the ceremony site, as well as accessories: table {carried it all the way on the hot beach through the sand dunes}, and rug as well. It was unforgettable emotions and memories!

Equally Wed: New Zealand Same-Sex Wedding {Auckland weddings photographer}

So amazing to see Victoria & Bree's New Zealand wedding published in Equally Wed - same-sex marriage international publications. Their wedding was so beautiful and romantic in Auckland Hotel DeBrett, registry office and Auckland Domain. A couple comes over from Australia to New Zealand to get married officially. It's the most exciting event and so unique, I appreciate newlyweds shared with me, their wedding photographer, such unique moments!

Auckland City + Domain elopement: Bianca and Matt {New Zealand wedding photographer}

Bianca & Matt, such a gorgeous couple, who made their way from Australia to have an intimate wedding | elopement in Auckland city. They have been surrounded by parents and me, of course, New Zealand weddings photographer :). It is a pleasure for me to capture a small wedding coverage with such beautiful people.

Our day started from champaign at SkyCity Hotel, walking on Auckland streets to the registry office and small scroll to the Auckland Domain after the ceremony.

It was such a beautiful event full of love, cry and emotional moments.

Couple shared their love story: " We met in 2007 when Matt's family moved in next door to mine, in the little town of King Creek, NSW. In 2010 we started dating (I was still in high school) and have been together ever since. In 2014 we moved to Newcastle where I commenced, and have just completed, a Bachelor of Biological Science. Matt's a total country guy at heart. He grew up on a farm before his family moved to town and he knew how to pull cars apart before I could properly tie my shoes." The proposal: "Matt took me up to Pappinbarra to show me the farm he grew up on. We were having a picnic on the tray of his giant ute, overlooking the vast, mountainous greenery when he popped the question."

New Zealand Beach Elopement: Simon and Tara {Auckland wedding photographers}

Im so excited to share with you my recent gallery with Simon and Tara, beautiful people who made their way from UK to get married on New Zealand beach. They choose for their elopement - Karekare Beach {Auckland, NZ}, celebrant with her two friends as wetnesses and me as their wedding photographer. Such a gorgeous intimate event in such a stunning location with rocks, ocean, grassy areas and freedom atmosphere. 

Simon shared their amazing loge story: "We met at work. Tara has a bold and fearless attitude and poked me with hot tea spoons until I asked her out. We have been together for 11 glorious years, the time has really flown. " Proposal: "In Scotland for Tara’s 40th. Staying in a quaint b&b in the highlands. I asked her over our first cuppa of the day. She didn’t want an engagement ring, she’s doesn’t like flashy things so I made her a ring with a squirrel on it. Squirrels feature in our lives quite a lot for some reason. They are ever present and we love it. It seemed fitting to have one on a ring".

Ming and Billie: Hedingham {Coatesville} - West Auckland wedding photographer - Forest Weddings

Amazing time with beautiful people - Ming & Billie who come all way over from Hong Kong to Hedingham {Coatesville, West Auckland, New Zealand} to get officially married, surrounded by few friends. As a wedding photographer, I love to capture such intimate weddings, usually warm and cosy events.

We started from a wedding ceremony in Hedingham, such a gorgeous old style building with fantastic land that has plenty of photo opportunities. Then move to Redwood Forest and come back to finish the day at the fabulous reception!

The couple shared their love story: "We have been together for almost four years. We first met at a boat party in 2011, but we didn't keep contact afterwards. We met again at a Xmas party in 2013 then we got very close and decided to be together." The proposal: "There was not a proper proposal, but the idea of getting married came naturally to us. ...Through the process of preparing the wedding ceremony and stuff, we have come to realise this is what we want to do because we share the commitment of loving each other for a lifetime." Such a romantic story!

Tree Church Ohaupo Wedding-Elopement {Waikato-New Zealand wedding photographer} sneak peek

Last week I been capturing amazing elopement with Jodie & Scott in Tree Church Ohaupo {Waikato, New Zealand}. Couple escaped from big city wedding to quiet and natural picturesque rustic weddings atmosphere. It was a great pleasure for me as their wedding photographer to capture all beautiful and emotional moments on the day: from getting ready in Cambridge, NZ through the intimate ceremony to couples photo shoot near the church.

Couple prefer to keep their intimate pictures private and I respect their will, but also have permission to share with you their sneak peek. I also would like to show few environmental photographs to give other couples feeling of Tree Church, as I know how hard to choose a right wedding venue and to find images from the wedding day in those venues; and just a few lifestyle moments happening on the wedding day around the couple :).
