Couple shared their story: “ We have been together eight years - we got together in first year at university and have been together ever since. We met at our first year hall and bonded over a mutual love of tv shows and procrastinating from study”. Proposal: “Codie was so concerned with making it a surprise and I was so suspicious (we had already bought the ring so I knew it was coming) that he surprised me at home and THEN took me out to a lovely regional park where we had bubbles and strawberries. It was lovely! He was so nervous and it was so sweet haha “ So romantic story!

Forest Engagement Session {Auckland pre-wedding photographer}

Enjoy highlights of Riverhead Forest engagement session with Tracy & Chris, such a pleasure for me as an Auckland re-wedding photographer to capture these special for couple moments.

We meet with Tracey & Chris at the afternoon and had such amazing time, walking and talking and capturing some beautiful, emotional and real moments.

Couple shared their story: “Weve been together 7 years...following 2.5 years long distance, we moved to London together and have been home 3 years back in nz. Have ticked the boxes of our first home, two fur babies and got engaged. We love travel and adventure both in our own country and abroad!” Proposal happened: “At Waiwera, a place very special to us and where Chris felt he knew I was the one for him. We went up on our 6th anniversary and in walking on the beach, fireworks in the background again symbolising our first weekend away 6 years ago... Chris got down on one knee and proposed! Surprised me for sure!” So beautiful and romantic story!

Forest + Beach Pre-wedding photo shoot {Auckland engagement photographer}

Im so delightful to share with you amazing forest + beach pre-wedding photo shoo with Hui & Alwen. Couple made their way from Hong-Kong to Auckland for their engagement session, it was a please to be their photographer.

We went to Riverhead forest first and then moved to the Muriwai Beach. It was amazing light and atmosphere. Such a magical comparing with original shooting date when was pure rain. Couple took a gamble and reschedule for their very last evening in Auckland, they moved to airport right after the session.

Engagement session - Muriwai Beach {Auckland wedding photographers}

Im so excited to share with you a engagement session sneak peek with gorgeous Cherrie & Cecil at Muriwai Beach . Couple made their way from Hong-Kong before their wedding. Such a pleasure to be their photographers and document so many romantic, real and beautiful moments.

Couple shared their story: “We met ten years ago at the University. We took the same class in Philosophy, which was compulsory. Then we were being assigned to the same group for a project. We went out to a restaurant near the campus for noodles on our first date.”

Need to mentioned weather in Auckland at this time of year very changeable with lots of rain, we even rescheduling their session. Luckily this day was great. We had just enough sun to capture the beautifu of Love & Light and all connections.

Before and After | Editing Workflow and Post-processing {Auckland engagement | wedding photographer

I never shared here my Before & After, what I do in my editing workflow and post-processing. There a lot of magic and work to enhance the world around, bring some colours, pop the subject, make background looks beautiful and my couples look their best, and add some contrast, as our cameras just can’t often translate how we see the world and how we feel it! Of course it all starting on location with getting it right in the camera, creating connections, compose boldly and choosing the right angle and perspective to translate emotions. But it also a lot of time afterwards working on details and bringing your vision to reality!

As an Auckland engagement and wedding photographer I traveled all around and visited many beautiful places at photo shoots, but my heart belongs to stunning West Coast Beaches {Piha, Muriwai, Karekare, Bethells etc}.

As an Artist Im bringing my vision in the final process creating beautiful, emotional and real photographs that connects to couple love and storytelling.

You can see me creating connections and shooting this pre-wedding session in Auckland with Synthea & Nathan, such amazing couple, just had their engagement and preparing for upcoming wedding in may. Such an exciting time!

Love and Light - these two words perfectly describing this gorgeous pre-wedding session New Zealand - Auckland with Hui & Elwin {couple made their way from overseas and it was a honour to be their engagement photographer and document such emotional and real moments}.

Gorgeous Hui & Elwin! When couple made all the way to New Zealand from Hong-Kong for their couple's session, it was rainy, but they decided to take a gamble and move the session to their very last evening before fly out of New Zealand. Luckily sun come out this time for a couple of minutes and we manage to capture beautiful moments and connection, just before couple head to the airport form the beach. Such a great memories! We had an exciting collaboration this winter - moody styled shoot at HU’s Art Farm {West Auckland}. Few wedding vendors come together to create an amazing atmosphere and some stunning photos: photographer - Olga Levien at L & L; make-up artist and hair stylist Olga Gill; gorgeous model - Ioana Damiani; dresses - Jessica Bridal; planner, stylist, flowers - Becks at EnvyEvents and stylish venue - HU’s Art Farm {with variety of shooting locations}.

It was a rainy day and we been happy to work under the cover in such a gorgeous location, get creative and “capture the beauty in details and harmony in moments” - my mojo!

Winter pre-wedding session in New Zealand {Auckland engagement | wedding photographers}

Im so excited to share with you my recent winter pre-wedding session {in New Zealand this time of the year not so cold as in northern hemisphere, but still windy and chill}. So many couples doing in Auckland their engagement session before the wedding day. Its a best way to get stunning photographs, spend amazing time, get comfortable for future special day and even choose your wedding photographers.

Such a beautiful day with Many & Mark on their pre-wedding West Auckland + Domain photo shoot in the park, forest and beach. Such amazing time with so couple that made their way from Hong Kong for their wedding | engagement photography.

We started in Auckland Domain, then follow to Riverhead forest and finished session at Muriwai Beach.

Couple shared their story: “We've been together for about 2.5 years we met during work when I (manyin) travel to HK for a work trip and Mark is local in HK where he studied in Sydney (same place as me) previously. Our hobbies and background was very alike and slowly we were together.” The proposal happened “On his birthday (as this was the date we started going out together) he decorated the house and proposed”. Such a beautiful story!

I’m so excited to share with you a recent sneak peek of morning pre-wedding session with Yvonne & Ethan at Riverhead forest and Muriwai beach. Muriwai Beach engagement session {Auckland wedding photographer}

Im so excited to share with you my recent gallery: Muriwai Beach engagement session {Auckland}. Anchal & Shravan had their pre-wedding photos done before fly out of New Zealand to India for their wedding. Im so honoured to be their photographer and document so special for couple moments!

We met on Tuesday afternoon and walk around sand dunes, rocks and gannet colony with secluded beach with the cave. So much love and positive emotions!

Its amazing how this couple {both born in different parts of India} met each other overseas in New Zealand {which maybe never happed in their home country}. Feels like it mean to be!

Rainy engagement session in Auckland {pre-wedding photographer}

We had such amazing time with Eileen & Steve on Christmas Eve! No matter rainy weather their engagement session in Auckland on the beach and in forest was so beautiful and romantic! Im so honoured to be chosen as their pre-wedding photographer and to capture so many special moments for this couple come over from overseas to New Zealand for this photo shoot!

Couple shared their love story: “We met through work, and have been together for close to 5 years. We saw each other and thought each other were cute but things really materialized when we went for a work charity event and he was finding ways to sit close and talk to me, and the rest is history. :)” Proposal: “He proposed to me at our home as we do not like dramatic attention. It was sweet and intimate, I came home to flowers (99 roses); petals and candles on the floor, with Rihanna's Diamond playing in the background. He went down on bended knee and asked me to marry him. Of course I said yes!”

Auckland City + Karekare Beach Pre-wedding {wedding photographer in New Zealand}

Im so thrilled to share with you a recent gallery highlights in Auckland City and Karekare Falls | Beach with Junice and Terrance who made all the way from Singapore to their pre-wedding session with me as wedding photographer, in New Zealand.

We had so much fun and positive emotions, walking on Auckland City streets, enjoying the atmosphere of a downtown with buildings, bricks, industrial and old style imperial feeling; driving to Karekare Falls and following to the Piha Beach for a little bit extra photos and atmosphere. This 3 hours photo shoot was just incredible. It was a cloudy day with no chance for a beautiful sunset, but its all about relationship, connection, emotions and candid moments, no matter weather!

Couple shared their love story: “We met at university during our 1st year but only got closer when we were doing our post grad diploma and have been together for almost 4 years”. The Proposal: “It was Junice's birthday and we had lunch at a Japanese restaurant we both like and have visited a few times. The restaurant celebrates birthdays with the chefs dimming the lights and singing a birthday song, while bringing out a birthday dessert. After the song, Terrance said that he had one more thing, - he then went down on one knee and popped the question. "To more sushi adventures ahead!" he said. “ Oh, such amazing story!
