As a wedding photographer, I'm so lucky to meet awesome couples and capture so special for them moments on weddings in beautiful venues around New Zealand and beyond. This time I'm presenting you a highlights form amazing Tayvia & Kyle's wedding in The Hunting Lodge and HU's Art Farm, so beautiful venue in West Auckland, Kumeu. 

Even raining weather can't stand in the way of emotional celebration. We walk in the rain on couples special session at Muriwai Beach and Woodhill Forest. Such a great memories!

The couple shared their love story: "We met on a snowboarding trip with our families in 2013". How was proposed: "we went down to a wharf near where I live, and he popped the question in the pitch black haha".

News: We are back in Auckland! {New Zealand wedding photographers}

Hi everyone! You might be noticed it been quieter during last few days. The reason is - we have fantastic news - we are back in Auckland. Yes, as wedding photographers we are travelling all around New Zealand and beyond with destination weddings overseas, but most of our work and family is based in Auckland.

Hamilton has been kind to us during last two years - great community, everything handy, no much traffic :) But everything pushed us back in Auckland where our photography journey started.

We are still live on the boxes, such a hard job packing and unpacking, with next wedding shooting just in one day and meetings with awesome potential clients almost every day, it's been challenging, but hopefully will be rewarding too.

Our little ones happy to explore a new place and they got something new - a big bunk bed. What else can you wish for Christmas :) 

Looks like a community in Hobsonville, West Auckland is terrific too. Double bonus we not far from the great wedding venues in Kumeu and around the Rodney area, travel to Matakana or South Auckland not take much time either. Short stroll to North Shore or Auckland City as well.

Hopefully, dreams come true, but who knows where destiny line will move us next {it seems like two years living in each place is our tradition now :)

Chasewild Workshop {Wedding photographers in Auckland}

Amazing time with great people on Chasewild workshop this weekend in Auckland! Its so great to catch up with other creatives, wedding photographers, share ideas, get creative inspiration and just hang out during so busy wedding season.

We had such a great experience in Pilkintons {Auckland City}, midday shoot on the streets, an evening stroll to Karekare Falls and Piha beach at sunset and dusk.

Need to mention a great add-on next day on editing and remarkable speech from Sascha Kraemer {Germany} on wedding photography business questions.

Raglan Beach pre-wedding engagement photo shoot {Auckland - Waikato wedding photographer}

So excited to share with you highlights of Jenna & Brodie breathtaking engagement session on Raglan Beach {Waikato, not far from Auckland, New Zealand}, it's such an honour for me, wedding photographer to capture such a special for couple moments on heir pre-wedding photo shoot!

We just walk and talk before the sunset; couple shared their beautiful and romantic story:

"We met February 2015 at work. Jenna a brand new police officer and Brodie had been on the street working as a police officer for a few months already. We were in the same section and worked together as partners in the police car together. After several months of being colleagues and becoming good friends, we fell in love. It has been two years since." The proposal was made in just unbelievable location: "On the top of Machu Picchu mountain overlooking Machu Picchu ruins."

It was a real pleasure to spend such a fantastic time with this gorgeous, romantic, emotional and crazy-in-love couple!

Auckland City - Hotel DeBrett Wedding-Elopement {New Zealand weddings photographer} Bree and Victoria

Excited to share with you beautiful and emotional wedding-elopement in Auckland City {Hotel DeBrett and Domain}. Victoria & Bree made all way over from Australia to New Zealand to get officially married in our country as same-sex weddings there not fully allowed yet. Luckily they had fantastic opportunity to make their dreams come true - elope in Auckland.

Our wedding story started in such gorgeous location as Hotel DeBrett with so many photo opportunities and emotional moments, then walk through the City to the registry office and get some beautiful photographs in Auckland Domain. This wedding was just gorgeous with so unique, romantic and real atmosphere. I loved every candid and natural moment of this celebration of love. LOVE IS LOVE!

Victoria shared couple's story, they met at work and been together for four years. Proposal details:"Away for the weekend in the Hunter Valley. Bree took me out for lunch at Bistro Molini. She arranged for my ring to come out on a plate with dessert, the proposal was written around the ring in chocolate sauce surrounded by strawberries and other fruit." Such a romantic story!

West Coast Beach Engagement Session {Auckland wedding photographers} Jackie and Matt

Fantastic time with Jackie and Matt on their engagement session on beautiful Auckland West Coast Beach and Karekare Falls. It is just a gorgeous couple of beautiful souls. It was a real pleasure for me, an Auckland wedding photographer to capture so unique for couple moments on their pre-wedding photo shoot.

Couples love story started on the beach. Jackie shared their sweet memories: "We met through a friend on the beach, we've been together ever since that day! " Proposal was made "In Gum Boots after he was finishing chopping up wood, he said a little speech, got down on one knee and pulled out a ring. " Such a great and romantic story!

Tawharanui Lodge Wedding {Matakana-Auckland weddings photographers} Fiona & Silas

Excited to share with you highlights of a beautiful and emotional wedding - Fiona & Silas in Tawharanui Lodge {near Matakana, Auckland, New Zealand}. It was a great honor for us, Auckland wedding photographers to capture couple's special moments with their friends and families. Especially a pleasure as we already met couple beforehand and got some stunning engagement photos on their pre-wedding photo shoot on Muriwai Beach {West Coast}. Such a great memories!

The couple shared their romantic story: "We were from the same school growing up in Malaysia, so we've known each other since we were 11. Never really talked to each other more until we met each other in Otago, Dunedin where we studied. We went to the same church, served on the team together, through Easter camp we got to know each other a lot better and realized we had endless things to talk about! We've been together for almost five years!" Silas shared a proposal story: "Planned to go to Gold Coast for a fun weekend with friends who were in on the plan. Last night before we left, we were taking photos as a group by the jetty, I had someone take a video while pretending just to take photos. Got on one knee and popped the question!"

It was a great pleasure to feel this unique atmosphere and so beautiful and emotional moments, especially on the wedding ceremony and through the day with the outing to the beach and fun reception.

My everyday personal moments in 365 Project - October {Hamilton - Waikato family-wedding photographer}

Excited to share with you my recent photos - everyday personal candid moments with kids and family in 365 Project around Hamilton, Waikato and Auckland. Our wedding season start rolling with Susannah & Jayden's wedding in Waitakere Estate {West Auckland, New Zealand}, where couple spend time with close friends and families in such picturesque surroundings. 

Jayden shared couple's love story:

"Susannah and I worked at the same company but never saw each other. One day we we're separately called into a group meeting, once Susannah started talking I was mesmerised. A few months later I moved onto the same floor and kept saying hello, eventually she said hello back and the rest is history." I love how was made a proposal: "I proposed as per Indian tradition; I asked her father for permission, then took Susannah to India to share the celebration with her family."

It was amazing wedding with beautiful and romantic atmosphere, full of positive moments, laugh and relaxed atmosphere.

Such a  great start of the season!

Mangawhai Heads Beach Engagement Session {Auckland NZ wedding photographers} Dahlia and Ibrahim

Dahlia & Ibrahim

We had a fantastic engagement session with Dahlia & Ibrahim on Mangawhai Heads beach just before the sunset. It was my first time traveling to this amazing location, I'm as an Auckland wedding photographer shot weddings and engagements in so many places in New Zealand, but on this beach yet, so it was a great pleasure to explore a new stunning pre-wedding location. 

The couple shared their love story and how was made a proposal:

"We met 7 years ago through my cousin who came to visit me in my architecture studio and I showed him around. We've been friends ever since then but never quite thought the other would be interested in the other. A year and a half ago we started rock climbing together and we started going every week and became in separable in between sessions. So we have a foundation of the best of friendships. ", said Dahlia.

"On one of our first dates we went on a hike in the Waitakere ranges, what started off as a 3 hour hike turned into a 7 hour hike after getting lost. It was cold and the track was muddy and slippery and messy. We ran and climbed and swam in ponds all the way back (boot camp style) because the sun was going down. But it was the funniest, most memorable experience so the Zion hill trek was really special for us and that's where he proposed. Waiting at the top of the mountain for me as my friend and I hiked up and she disappeared behind me as we got to the look out. It was super romantic and beautiful. " The story sounds so special and romantic!

We had fantastic time with couple exploring the seaside, climbing rocks and walking and chatting.
