Clickin Walk 2019 - Karekare Beach + Falls {Auckland lifestyle family-wedding photographers}

Im so excited to share with you photos from very special event - annual Clickin Walk 2019 on Karekare Beach and Falls, where women {Auckland lifestyle family-wedding photographers, Clickin Moms} comes together once a year to meet, chat and take some photos on the way.

This time we met on amazing setting with gorgeous landscapes - wide open Karekare Beach, place where famous Piano was filmed.

We usually rotating location {last year it was Auckland City, previous year Muriwai beach}, and this time it was just perfect for finding peace and tranquility in a nature setting.

Clickin Walk 2017 photography contest winner {New Zealand lifestyle photographer}

I been surprised when I found out one of my images from international Clickin Walk just won 1st Runner Up - Best All Around contest winners.

I recently told you about our amazing Clickin Walk on Muriwai Beach {Auckland} with talented women-photographers. This inspirational walk running all around the world in the same weekend and organised by ClickinMoms - great community of women-photogprahers {full of support, advice, learning and inspiration}. I been one of New Zealand organisers.

Its a great honour my image been chosen from thousands of photos all around the world. I really appreciate it, but the best thing ever - we had amazing time all together, so good to catch up and talk photography, babies, kids and life.

Look forward to our next catch up in some beautiful, wild and amazing location around New Zealand}.

ClickinWalk 2017 - Muriwai beach Auckland {New Zealand lifestyle photographer}

Im second year in a row took part in international ClickinWalk and helped to organised it in Auckland, New Zealand. We been doing it in Wynyard Quarter last year, check Clickinwalk 2016.

This time we decided to make it more challenging and head over to Muriwai beach {Auckland, New Zealand} for shooting more landscape photography just before the sunset {funny enough we still tend to put people in the shot, to make a point of interest :) hard to give up what we use to}. It was a great opportunity to enjoy surroundings, breath in and try some technics as double exposure, camera painting with slow shutter speed, freelensing and more. We also talk about photogprahy, how to became a ClcikPro photogpraher and even thought about organising CM camp in New Zealand. Fingers crossed!

It was amazing walking, talking and evening at Riverhead Tavern with amazing women-photogprahers, ClickinMoms. Look forward to next year and more challenges and inspiration to try something new on another walk and talk.

Enjoy these highlights in unusual for me genre, but its make life more interesting! :) Highly recommend to everyone to change the routine and try something new and unexpected!

Celebrating Click Pro {New Zealand lifestyle wedding and family photographer} photography mentorship

Im so excited to share with you news about my little or big achievement. My lifestyle wedding and family photography portfolio set with 150 images was just accepted for Click Pro.

"Click Pro is a modern network of highly skilled professional photographers and independent artists. Membership to Click Pro is application based, and invitation is extended on the basis of an applicant’s portfolio evaluation.

The evaluation scale is broken into seven categories with six levels per category. Each level has a number/name explained in more detail below.

The rubric categories are:

1 — Exposure Triangle
2 — Color and White Balance
3 — Use of Light
4 — Composition and Posing
5 — Processing Cohesion and Polish
6 — Technical (focus, DOF, etc)
7 — Creativity, Expression and Intention".

As photographer and mum Im so happy to took part in this project and be in amazing community of wonderful women-photographers | artists ClickinMoms, offering support, photography education and much more.

Im over two years in this amazing community and its a big achievement to reach Click Pro Status, but at the same moment its a lot of responsibility, Im happy to help everyone in their photography journey, share everything what I know, teach | mentoring and help with personal and professional development. 

I also exciting to share my work in Daily Project.

Clickin Walk 2016 international gallery {Auckland-New Zealand lifestyle wedding photographer}

Great to found out that couple of my lifestyle images been included in Clickin Walk 2016 international gallery. I seen news published in ClickMagazine and decided to scroll through the gallery with amazing images from talented photographers around the world taking part in this annual event. Can you imagine my shock when I saw one image with my name and then another one?!

Wow, what a great honour to be in the company with so talented women-photographers from around the globe! Thank you so much for including my photographs in this Clickin Walk gallery. Im appreciate.

It was amazing walk in Auckland, New Zealand and I really enjoyed our company {I think I mostly was chatting instead taking the pictures and look around, ha-ha! thats my style :)}

ClickinWalk 2016 Auckland {New Zealand lifestyle wedding photographer}

Last sunday I been happy to took part in worldwide ClickinWalk in Auckland, New Zealand next day after shooting wedding in Hamilton NZ. A little bit more about it from official website:

"The online relationships that have blossomed within the Clickin Moms community of over 16,000 photographers are heartwarming. ClickinWalk is an opportunity for women who know one another in the virtual world to come together in the physical world and bond with others who share their passion for photography.  This event is designed not only to give women (and men) an occasion during which to nurture friendships and professional networks, but also to provide a chance to challenge both their photography and creative skills."

It was a great opportunity to us, lifestyle photographers to meet each other, had a relaxable walk and talk and capture some images along the way :) I been proud to be one of the ClickinWalk leaders with Clair and we been thrilled to met amazing women-photographers in our New Zealand ClickinWalk. Time went really fast and we met sunset at Auckland Viaduct and Wineyard Quarter.

"Hi! I'm Gena, a Washington DC Newborn Photographer who also specializes in babies, children, maternity and family photography.   I am a blessed mom of four beautiful children (including a set of twins), a 20-year military Veteran and an impassioned photographer.   Newborns are my absolute favorite subject to photograph.  I love everything about brand new babies, especially the feelings of sheer excitement, joy and elation that build during the session and multiply when I sit down to process the images once the session is complete.  I vividly remember the awesome feeling of having my four little-ones photographed in their first few days and relish the opportunity to create the same excitement and anticipation for my clients.  My goal with newborns is to create soft, beautiful, natural images that are custom created for the families I am privileged to work with.

Happy New Year!

Today we go away Up North for Christmas holidays and will be absent around 1.5 week. It will be quiet time in my blog and website.

Hope everyone will be having a great holidays, plenty of rest, new emotions and adventures!

Happy New Year! Hope its bring us more positive, good and kind events, more luck, happiness and harmony! 

And before New Year we remember all the best what happened with us in last year and make some plans and resolution for next one. So here my positive changes for year 2014:

1. Move back to ice skating after second baby born (when she was 3 month old). Its really positive be on the ice again, feel freedom and happiness. And I even start motivating me blog Olgaskating at Blogger, and connect with some other adults skaters around the world.

2. Decorating and use to our new house what we bought at the end of 2013. Making kids bedrooms, spare guests bedroom, look after outside area (bought some plants and flowers).

3. New DSLR camera Nikon D7000 with few lens bought and from hobby my photography turn more into the business.

4. Creating own website with portfolio and Facebook business page. Thank you everyone who support me on this hard and interesting way! Unbelievable I could do it for so short time.

5. Photography sessions with my clients, models and friends. What the great experience and fun! I am appreciated every single moment. Thank you so much for push me further to bigger progress!

6. Join ClickinMoms community. What the great place to be - forums, tutorials, workshops, picture share, support and love. Im only new there but just love it!

7. View my little ones grow - such a big changes. William turned 2 and start talking, counting, know colours, amazing changes! Anna-Bella turn one year old, now she walking, talking (soon will be same like brother and even faster development - girls!). And they just cute little personalities! Enjoy every moment with them!

8. And my husband Matt, he had hard and busy time at work (really stressful), but still found power for support me on my way with photography, kids, part-time job, housekeeping etc.

And hope next year will bring even more positive and fun (if I will have time in next year probably I will write some type of resolution, milestones. Will see :)
