I been surprised when I found out one of my images from international Clickin Walk just won 1st Runner Up - Best All Around contest winners.
I recently told you about our amazing Clickin Walk on Muriwai Beach {Auckland} with talented women-photographers. This inspirational walk running all around the world in the same weekend and organised by ClickinMoms - great community of women-photogprahers {full of support, advice, learning and inspiration}. I been one of New Zealand organisers.
Its a great honour my image been chosen from thousands of photos all around the world. I really appreciate it, but the best thing ever - we had amazing time all together, so good to catch up and talk photography, babies, kids and life.
Look forward to our next catch up in some beautiful, wild and amazing location around New Zealand}.

Great news coming from Wellington {New Zealand} - Epson | NZIPP Iris Awards: our prints won Silver + 2 Bronzes in Wedding Creative category and 2 Bronze awards in Wedding Classic category.
Its a good experience. Winning awards not make you a better photographer, but the process of evaluating your own images, moving through your weddings and engagement session, picking photos what best speaks to you and according to your Voice and Style, re-editing them many times till its feels right and sending off to the public, share with photographers community, listen to their feedback definitely make you step up and became stronger. I totally recommend it to everyone.
I would love to say "Thank you" to my awesome clients who supporting me all this time {its pity I can't submit images from each wedding | pre-wedding session, every one of them so special and unique {NZIPP limiting the number of prints entering, but I still can keep them for the next year :)}.
Also Thank you to judges for valuable feedback {i especially appreciate their discussing over my Silver award image in Wedding Creative category, good to listen it online, so valuable feedback} - approximate quote:
Nathan: "Strong and obvious story... We are seeing the bride at the end of her photo shoot and she put a lot of effort... Its more like an anti-wedding shot, not staged candid moment. Excited to share with you amazing news - just found out Art of storytelling featured image from Kara & David's wedding in their weekly contest in theme {The Point of View}. Its definitely was unusual point of view directed by vision and inspiration. Love to create something different but connected to the couple's story, which was obviously a beach theme as Kara & David travelled all way from Canada to New Zealand to have amazing beach wedding on Waihi Beach {Flat White cafe}.

Its such a great surprise to see my personal lifestyle image featured in LooksLikeFilm - community with over 40000 amazing photographers from all around the world. Its a great honour for me to be in this company with so talented wedding and lifestyle family photographers.

Im so excited to share with you news about my little or big achievement. My lifestyle wedding and family photography portfolio set with 150 images was just accepted for Click Pro.
"Click Pro is a modern network of highly skilled professional photographers and independent artists. Membership to Click Pro is application based, and invitation is extended on the basis of an applicant’s portfolio evaluation.
The evaluation scale is broken into seven categories with six levels per category. Each level has a number/name explained in more detail below.
The rubric categories are:
1 — Exposure Triangle
2 — Color and White Balance
3 — Use of Light
4 — Composition and Posing
5 — Processing Cohesion and Polish
6 — Technical (focus, DOF, etc)
7 — Creativity, Expression and Intention".
As photographer and mum Im so happy to took part in this project and be in amazing community of wonderful women-photographers | artists ClickinMoms, offering support, photography education and much more.
Im over two years in this amazing community and its a big achievement to reach Click Pro Status, but at the same moment its a lot of responsibility, Im happy to help everyone in their photography journey, share everything what I know, teach | mentoring and help with personal and professional development.

Im really excited to share with you amazing news: Sonya & Ryan's New Years Eve wedding just been published in Modern Weddings as "Chic Beach Wedding".
This wedding was just unforgettable with warm and cosy atmosphere in Maketu beach with ceremony at the backyard with views to Mt Maunghanui {Tauranga}. We specially drove from Hamilton, NZ to capture for couple such a special moments and come back home just 5 minutes before 12 am to celebrate the New Year :) Such a great memories!
Sonya & Ryan had amazing day sharing their feelings with close friends and families {who come over to NZ from overseas all around the world}. Its unbelievable but second week in a row Im congratulating Hana & Aidan with another publication of their classic vintage beautiful wedding in stunning location The Duke of Marlborough Hotel, Russell {Bay of Islands, Northland, New Zealand} - Paper and Lace, stunning NZ wedding blog cared be Jax.
As destination wedding photographers we love to travel all around New Zealand and worldwide, but this wedding and location been truly special. I love the historical feeling and atmosphere in this cozy town. Also ability to breath in all the nature and landscapes around crossing the space between Paihia and Russell on the ferry just priceless! Such a great memories.
