Delaware Estate - St Mary's Church {North Shore wedding photographer}

Im so excited to share with you one of the beautiful events in Delaware Estate and St Mary’s Church {North Shore} - Gabrielle & Luke’s wedding that I had honour to be photographer at.

Couple shared their story: “Luke and I have been together just over 9 years. We met when I was about 14 and started dating when I was 16, we have been through a lot together. When I was in year 11 I was in a very bad accident and was in a neck brace for months, Luke was incredible. When I was 19 my mum was diagnosed with breast cancer stage 4 and after horrible treatment she recovered. 4 years later my Dad was diagnosed with neck and nose cancer who also had to go through severe treatment. Once my Dad's treatment was coming to an end, we found out my Mums cancer had returned. 6 weeks later my mum passed away. Life hasn't been easy, but Luke has been there through it all with me and has always been there for my family, just as I am for him. We are not only partners, supporters but just best friends.”

Best of 2018/2019 Season {Auckland wedding and engagement photography}

I want to share with you today best of 2018/2019 season - my amazing couples - in Auckland, wedding and engagement photography. Traveling to Europe, Fiji, Bali and around New Zealand.

Last season started at the end of August and finished at the beginning of May, with so many amazing romantic and real moments, such a great memories. Its so hard to choose just one picture from the session/wedding from hundreds and thousands of them, Im so in love with all couples and weddings!

Family of four {Auckland newborn-kids photographer}

Winter is a perfect time to get some family photos taken {Like this family of four in Auckland}, especially when you just had a newborn. Such a precious memories of your kids, so treasured moments for mum and da and me as well as their photographer. Im as a mum of three myself totally feel connected to these beautiful people and their little ones! Such a beautiful and treasured memories!

This time I visit gorgeous house at North Shore where I met Meg, Mark and their two little ones - Lily and Zakki. Thats how this family describe themselves: “Mark is dad and he loves golf Meg is mum and she is ? Idk , - Lily is 18 months and loves the wiggles to bits , loves to dance , loves books, Zakki is just four days old . He is small dark and handsome. Bob is our ragdoll seal point cat . He is a good looking dude and he knows it. Jagger is our blue point ragdoll and she is a sweet doll”. You can get such a great vibe just from this awesome description!

Moody Styled Shoot - HU's Art Farm {Auckland wedding photographer}

We had an exciting collaboration this winter - moody styled shoot at HU’s Art Farm {West Auckland}. Few wedding vendors come together to create an amazing atmosphere and some stunning photos: photographer - Olga Levien at L & L; make-up artist and hair stylist Olga Gill; gorgeous model - Ioana Damiani; dresses - Jessica Bridal; planner, stylist, flowers - Becks at EnvyEvents and stylish venue - HU’s Art Farm {with variety of shooting locations}.

It was a rainy day and we been happy to work under the cover in such a gorgeous location, get creative and “capture the beauty in details and harmony in moments” - my mojo!

Traveling Dress Project publication - Personal photography {Auckland fine art photographer}

Winter is a perfect time for recharge and bring in more creative vibe. One of the ways is Traveling Dress Project - a personal photography and way of collaboration with other photographers, from Auckland, around New Zealand and beyond, including Australia. Eight incredibly talented lifestyle and fine art photographers come together to choose one dress and send it to each other, taking pictures with their daughters in their personal photographer style. Its such a great way to try something new, get inspired and capture a few stunning photos , treasured memories with our family - little ones. My daughter been very excited to try this dress on, explore around the bushes at some rainy afternoon. Learn - Love - Light - Laughter {Auckland wedding photographers workshop}

We had amazing time and Learn - Love - Light - Laughter at my Auckland wedding photographers live workshop. It was 2 days full of shooting, inspiration, creative discoveries, all things business and much more. We found new friendship, creative boost, mojo and there was so many heartwarming moments!

It was such a treasured time in West Auckland in The Barn, Honeysuckle cottage, Muriwai Beach and forest. SO many A-Ha moments!

Big news: I just signed the contract for another educational project with international Click Photo School, my online workshop! Orakei Bay - Kings Garden Cafe {Auckland wedding photographers}

This was one of amazing event in Orakei Bay venue and Kings Garden Cafe {Auckland} where Danielle & Hugh get married surrounded by close friends and family. It was a honour for me, their wedding photographer, to document such a special moments on this day where even rain cant stop on the way of this celebration. We spent the couples photo shoot at Hobson Bay walkway between the ceremony and reception at cafe.

Couple shared their story: “He proposed on a Samoa trip. We were snorkelling out in the deep and he hid the ring underwater on a piece of coral... I thought I had found someone elses beautiful diamond ring by chance, I turned around and he was on one knee ! ROMANTIC” Such incredible story!

Phlock photography conference - Manchester UK {Auckland wedding photographer}

Im so excited to be invited to a Phlock photography conference in Manchester UK, on 20-22 March 2020. Its a largest photography conference for women!

I will be sharing as an Auckland wedding photographer the ways to connect to couple and create a strong message and connection to the viewer, translating your photography voice in the photograph.

I just had the two most incredible days on my live workshop in Auckland with 10 amazing creatives {L & L: learn - love - light - laughter}. I just don’t wanted it to end, so hard to say goodbye as we had the most unforgettable experience. Watch this space for photos and details! Winter pre-wedding session in New Zealand {Auckland engagement | wedding photographers}

Im so excited to share with you my recent winter pre-wedding session {in New Zealand this time of the year not so cold as in northern hemisphere, but still windy and chill}. So many couples doing in Auckland their engagement session before the wedding day. Its a best way to get stunning photographs, spend amazing time, get comfortable for future special day and even choose your wedding photographers.

Pre-wedding West Auckland + Domain Auckland photo shoot {wedding | engagement photography}

Such a beautiful day with Many & Mark on their pre-wedding West Auckland + Domain photo shoot in the park, forest and beach. Such amazing time with so couple that made their way from Hong Kong for their wedding | engagement photography.

We started in Auckland Domain, then follow to Riverhead forest and finished session at Muriwai Beach.

Couple shared their story: “We've been together for about 2.5 years we met during work when I (manyin) travel to HK for a work trip and Mark is local in HK where he studied in Sydney (same place as me) previously. Our hobbies and background was very alike and slowly we were together.” The proposal happened “On his birthday (as this was the date we started going out together) he decorated the house and proposed”. Such a beautiful story!

Ice, Mountains and Passion {travel journal - Auckland wedding photographer in Oberstdorf - Germany}

I want to share with you my recent travel news, in case if you noticed how quiet lately in our Blog: I been few weeks away , in Oberstdorf, Germany, for ISU International Adult Figure Skating Competitions, at Ice, Mountains, and share the Passion with amazing people from all over the world, with love to ice skating.

It is a honour for me not only be an Auckland wedding photographer, mentor, a mum, and wife, but also continue to do my passion - figure skating, such incredible sport with passion and grace! It always been a dream to participate in international competitions of such a big rank, and Im not shy to chance my dreams and just go for it, even if I back on ice only for a one year, after almost 8 years break with having kids and building a successful wedding photography business in Hamilton and Auckland, NZ, mentoring and running multiple educational projects. Hard work did paid off!

Such incredible rewarding experience with so many new friends, with warm support and cheer!

All dreams can come true if you believe in yourself and really want it to happen.

Kourawhero Estate {North Auckland wedding photographers}

The location where we met Sara & Matt on their special day was just magical - open space, stunning views on hills and farm land, perfect spot for a ceremony. Couple get married at Kourawhero Estate {North Auckland, not far from Warkworth}, it was a honour for me and Matt to be their wedding photographers and document all beautiful, emotional and happy candid natural moments!

Couple shared their story: “Ours is a story of best friends accidentally falling in love. We met in 2012 on set of NZ's Got Talent and quickly became good friends. In 2016 Matt left his wife and moved to Auckland to be with Sara. One year later we got engaged. He proposed in the middle of a speedway race at Western Springs after a surprise weekend of beach picnics, seaplanes, vineyards and car racing”. This is so romantic!

Rainy day wedding in Mantells {weddings photography in Auckland}

It was a rainy day, but weather cant stand on the way of this beautiful celebration - Alyssa & Josh get married in Mantells surrounded by close friends and family. I shot many weddings this season, but doing photography in this rustic venue with character in Auckland is something special!

Everything been just gorgeous on this day! It was a pleasure for me to document the story of the day and capture all beautiful, emotional, real and natural moments with lots of love and laughter.

Couple shared their story: “Met at a bar in Ponsonby. Been together 10 years! Josh proposed in Vietnam while we were on holiday. After dinner at the resort we walked down to the water where he ordered 2 glasses of champagne at the outdoor bar which had been closed for a few days because of bad weather. They only had enough for one glass (which was flat and murky). We strolled down the beach with my flat champagne and Josh with his beer to a sun lounger where he proposed under the stars.” SO beautiful story!

Im so excited to share with you highlights of Megan & Daniel celebration in Gracehill Vineyard Estate {West Auckland}, such a beautiful location for a wedding with beautiful atmosphere and everything on one site, such a dream for all wedding photographers! {need to mentioned we had amazing time on couples pre-wedding | engagement photo shoot, so much fun, love and positive emotions!}

Couple spend their special day surrounded by their close friends and family. It was a great honour for me to be their wedding photographer and document all natural and candid moments through the day.

Couple shared their story: “Daniel and I met at university through a mutual friend, soon started dating and then spending all our time together. We've now been together for 6.5 years, and are at a very comfortable stage of our relationship. As Daniel says - it's like we're already married. He proposed while travelling in Japan, we were visiting the snow festival in Hokkaido, which are gigantic snow and ice sculptures. After a fun evening sightseeing and eating, we were walking home down a quiet snowy street and Daniel proposed on one knee in the snow.” Oh such a beautiful memories!

Couple been really excited on their wedding day “Hearing each others vows, and having a really fun day with each other and all our friends and family”.

We had such amazing time - 4-hours session!!! starting from Auckland Domain, Riverhead forest, and finishing meeting sunset at Muriwai Beach. So many incredible moments, love and laughter! We enjoyed every single moment!

Morning pre-wedding session in forest+beach {wedding-engagement photographer in Auckland}

I’m so excited to share with you a recent sneak peek of morning pre-wedding session with Yvonne & Ethan at Riverhead forest and Muriwai beach. Couple come over from Singapore where they planning their wedding, its such a honour they chose me to be their engagement photographer, coming in Auckland specially for this session.

Why it happened on morning? I do love beautiful sunset light, but unfortunately we had a rainy forecast during last two days that couple spent in New Zealand. Luckily, morning was just perfect with no rain!
